A recent study (see article at the BBC News here) of Female Identical Twins, where one twin was straight while the other was a lesbian, found that the gays of the pairs had different sized ring & index fingers on one hand. This is a trait normally found with males rather then females.

Now I am not suggesting that you measure your wife's fingers in her sleep to see if she is a closet lesbian. Haha. While the study is "scientific", it is not a sure-fire way to find predetermined homosexuality in females. So you should only read into this study as a point of interest or as evidence that further studies in this field should be done.

A recent opinion piece at the Huffington Post pointed out how the Bisexual Community, the "B" in LGBTQ, has become invisible (and even discriminated) in the broader orientation community at large.

Even before reading the piece, merely seeing the title ("Bisexual People Aren’t Confused Or Closeted. We’re Tired Of Being Invisible."), I had to agree. I speak with numerous men who have this belief that they are either Heterosexual or Homosexual when it boils down to it and that there is no in between. They feel that if they are 51% attracted to men, they are 100% gay. Of course not all men with urges towards both sexes feel this way, but it is an alarming number. The article kind of opened my eyes to what was going on and it matched perfectly with what I was seeing first hand. Granted, I am sure that some of the men with this belief actually were gay, but I know as a fact that some were Bi but they saw sexual orientation as an all or nothing one way or the other. They saw themselves as "confused" or "conflicted" if they didn't pick one sex OR the other. They equated Bisexuality with being in a fog rather than it being a light in & of itself. Bisexuality IS an orientation.

Let me use myself as an example...

"I" am "Bisexual". I am not confused, nor am I conflicted. I don't identify this way out of socialsexuality. I don't identify this way to play-the-field. Nor do I identify as Bisexual do to an inability to choose. As far back as I can remember, I have been attracted (sexually) to boys AND girls. I have been in sexual & romantic relationships with men AND women. And when I am free and aroused, I masturbate to pornography of men AND women (and I am speaking of solo porn of either sex). This is not a confusion. I am not a conflicted Heterosexual. I am not a closeted Lesbian. I AM A BISEXUAL.

Also, I am not sexually indifferent. Some people say that bisexuals are just "pansexuals". I am not a so-called pansexual. While I love my FemBoys, T-Girls, and Sissies, I am not sexually attracted to them. Some say that Bisexuality is just an attraction to a type of person that crosses the gender barrier, such as being attracted to Femininity across the board and thus being attracted to Feminine Men AND Women. That may indeed be the case for some people... in fact, I am positive that it is for some. However, I am attracted to Feminine Females and to Masculine Males. I don't get aroused by Masculine Women or by Effeminate Men.

People need to remember (or realize) that Bisexuality is indeed a thing. I am not a Lesbian. I am not Pansexual. Nor am I straight. I AM BISEXUAL. Always have been and always will be. It is just who I am and how I am wired.

"Fetish by Proxy", a unique sexual occurrence which I also call an "Incidental Fetish", is caused by someone else's Sexual Desires rather than one's own.

An example of this was a married Caucasian man whose wife was turned on at the idea of him having sex with an Ebony Prostitute. (It's a long story as to how this came about, lol.) Prior to his marriage, and before this came out, this man's sexual desires were not aimed at prostitutes, let alone Ebony Street Walkers. But his wife's arousal and steamy discussions of him being with a Black Hooker caused his sexuality to be forever changed. His sexual desires completely shifted to African American Prostitutes; he gained a fetish for Ebony Hookers. The things he used to be aroused by didn't do it for him anymore. From that point he only would look at Ebony Prostitutes.

5

This is an example of a Fetish by Proxy. If it were not for the unique desire of his wife, this fetish probably would not have occurred.

Do you have an Incidental Fetish?

Tell us about it!
