Psycho-Sexual Typological Test Commentary
PSTT Commentary can be found after the following explanation on the 4-pairs of Letters:
M? C? H? T? What?!
Your 4-letter ‘Type’ comes from your answers to the Test being used to calculate which of 2 possible letters is allotted to each of the 4 inherent categories. All of the possible letters are:
M | C | H | S |
P | O | E | T |
There being 2 letters for each column, there are actually 16 different 4-letter Psychosexual Types:
MCHS | MOHS | PCHS | POHS |
MCHT | MOHT | PCHT | POHT |
MCES | MOES | PCES | POES |
MCET | MOET | PCET | POET |
16? Why? … POET? What? … Quad-literate? Huh?
Why 16? Why 4 columns? Why a “T” & no “V”? Well, let me cut down on letters by cutting to the chase here. As openly noted elsewhere on the site, we at the SSI mostly hold to, or are in general agreement with, the ideas of Dr. C. G. Jung; concerning those things pertaining to Psychology. Jung had constructed Typological principles & standards for people’s Personality/Psyche. Those ideas, after some expansion & added explanation, gave rise to arguably the most notable Personality Test out there, the Briggs-Myers Personality Test (Myers-Briggs® Type Indicator® of the Myers-Briggs Foundation). Jungian Typology can also be found at the root of another noteworthy test, whose name seals my statement, the Jung Typology Test™ created by Humanmetrics, Inc.
Both of those Typology formats have 8 letters (while using 4 per type) and comprise 16 types. Their Jungian-based letters are:
I | S | T | J |
E | N | F | P |
Each letter stands for a trait…
I = Introverted | S = Sensation | T = Thinking | J = Judging |
E = Extraverted | N = Intuition | F = Feeling | P = Perceiving |
And so, to quickly show, their 16 possible personality types are…
ISTJ, ISTP, ISFJ, ISFP, INTJ, INTP, INFJ, INFP, ESTJ, ESTP, ESFJ, ESFP, ENTJ, ENTP, ENFJ, & ENFP
For our sexual version thereof, we realized that we needed a new set of traits in order for it to work; personality & sexuality being quite unique, no matter how interconnected they may be.
It is strongly advise that you take one of the aforementioned personality tests, and then review your resulting Personality-Typing. We recommended taking the one by Humanetrics™ here:
